All materials within the IPC/I package were developed for a global audience and intended for adaptation and local contextualization. The Adaptation Guidance and Needs Assessment provides a review of key principles and steps to guide the process of adapting the package content, including conducting a needs assessment, and tailoring the global package to individual or local needs and priorities.

The fundamental concepts and skills introduced in the IPC/I package, as well as the participatory approaches used throughout the package have global applicability. However, not all of the content, methodologies or tools will be appropriate for every country, training opportunity, or trainee audience. Review and adaptation of the content, methodologies, delivery plan, and supporting resources are recommended to maximize the relevance and accessibility for local contexts, immunization priorities, and needs of health workers and caregivers.

This Adaptation Guidance & Needs Assessment is in French.
