Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHH) Best practice documentary in Ethiopia

UNICEF has designed a pilot Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management (MHH) program entitled “Breaking the silence on menstrual hygiene management” in six regions of Ethiopia. The total budget of the program was 2,500,000 USD. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands funded the program. The program’s principal objective was to ensure the safety, dignity, and empowerment of adolescent girls whilst contributing to the retention of adolescent girls in schools at the critical time of menstruation.  The overall objective of this study was to understand and establish end line data on the current Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice (KAP) around the issue of menstrual hygiene.
