The importance of data analytics cannot be overstated when it comes to improving programming and policy making. This is especially true in the field of nutrition policy, where evidence-based decision making is crucial to effectively fight against malnutrition. Despite significant progress made in the past decades, India still faces the challenge of maternal and child malnutrition, with millions of undernourished women, children, and adolescents in the country. However, there is limited comprehension and awareness of the scope of undernutrition and its determining factors.  In this issue of PoshanWeekly, we are happy to share the updated video series on state-wise analysis of key malnutrition indicators for 22 states by Nutrition Group Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA) IIT Bombay.  Through comparing the results from NFHS-4 (2015-2016) and NFHS-5 (2019-2021), the video series aims to promote evidence-based discussions, raise awareness, and mobilise action for nutrition among local leaders, state and district-level administration and civil society organisations.   We believe that this updated video series will contribute to advancing evidence-informed programming and initiatives towards improving maternal and child nutrition outcomes in India. Let us work together towards a healthier future for all.
